LINDE VÍTKOVICE Inc. Is owned 50 % by Linde AG and 50 % by VÍTKOVICE Inc.

Our company operates one manufacture plant in Ostrava (Oxygen plant) and the second one in Ústí nad Labem (Preparation plant- acetylene cylinders completion).

The company was founded in September 1992 by entry of the foreign business partner into the existing Oxygen plant VÍTKOVICE operating since 1964 and followingly by expanding with the Acetylene Plant and Preparation Plant.

The oxygen plant manufactures oxygen, nitrogen and argon by air division process. Part of the production is supplied by the pipe distribution into the VÍTKOVICE company area, the other part of the production is dispatched in the liquid form into the trade network of LINDE GAS company.

The acetylene plant was supplying the production by the pipe distribution into the VÍTKOVICE company and production in cylinders into the LINDE GAS company. The plant is no longer in operation.

Preparation plant supplies complete acetylene cylinders and cylinder bundles to the gas companies all over the Europe. The aim of the preparation plant is to be one of the biggest European suppliers of acetylene cylinders.

The aim of the Ostrava plant is to manufacture industrial gases in the required quality in the course of continuos reduction of harmful impacts on the environment while maintaining absolute safety and plant reliability. In the long-term period the plant aims to provide its customers industrial gases supplies in continuously improving quality while still reducing the energy consumption. The most considerable customer of Ostrava plant is EVRAZ VÍTKOVICE STEEL, Inc.

The Ostrava Plant is certified according to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

Preparation Plant in Ústí nad Labem and also Ostrava Plant is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

LINDE VÍTKOVICE Inc. belongs to the companies of the Moravian-Silesian Region, that regularly support charities and oranizations caring for the handicapped.
